hi guys been bouncing of people in america about our (HC) auto boxes.

got quote a bit of info and the document for fault finding etc..

goto here -

select the auto transmission section and there it is.. woo hoo.

ive printed one off (80 double sided prints, thank you work) cause im looking at kevs on saturday.

if anyone is looking for the single blue pin to ground to get the code i checked on my car its in a black plastic cover with a blue 6 pin plug as well near the abs unit.

just a quick update.

babalouie's auto was playin up. we did the earthing the single blue pin and brought the code straight up.

lesson learned one - make sure your earth is stable or the diagnosis mode is a PITA.

once you make sure the earth is stable the code came up

one long flick and 2 quick flicks = code 12

throttle sensor or wiring

hope its not the TPS. from mazda $360AUS trade

By "Playin up" what do you mean? what was it doing?
And whats the go with diagnostics? what are you using to get codes?

hold light was flashing

basically the box was kicking out of overdrive and flashing the light if you braked hard or a sudden jolt like cruise control turning off from being cancelled..

please read what i posted.. as its there infront of you..

or download the FSM ive described in my first post.. it has the proceedures code table etc

all the info is in the manual

When my hold lights was flashing it was cause of my speed sensor was stripped
