cruise control unit location

Hi all, I'am in the process of trying to troubleshoot my cruise control system. I have a 1990 Mazda 929 Hardtop DOHC V6.

I need to find the location of the cruise control unit. I thought it was under the RHD drivers side kick panel, I found a small box thing bolted to a metal plate with a connector going to it, however it wasn't all that big, I thought it might of been bigger. Could that be it? or is it elsewhere?

If someone could shed some light on this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Left kick panel i believe. Left side underdash if not.

under the left hand one is the abs control unit. I will look under the dash panel's again, both sides. My car is RHD.
