Hi, Im looking to have a couple of degrees positive camber on the rear. Does anyone know if the HC 929 has a factory adjustment, and if it does, how far you can move it? Has anyone tried it?
Mazdaspeed, is there anything korean?

Cheers.

Awesome, do you know how much adjustment there is, or any quick methods for getting more?

I assume being IRS, as you lower the car it gains more negative camber, so im needing to counteract this to the point where i have a couple of degrees positive camber. Its only lowered an inch, so it shouldnt need too much im hoping.

if you drop her an inch it wont do jack all mate.i dropped my car 3 inches and difference in camber is minimal an i havent noticed any tire wear so far nad i traveled 5000kms like this,
positive camber wont help you cause instead of wearing off inner side of tire(with neg camber)you will be wearing off outside of it.
btw camber doesnt really affect tire wear by that much.usually its toe that does it.

Im not concerned with tire wear. I want the tire to sit flat when the rear end squats when i gun it. To have this there needs to be preset positive camber, otherwise when you plant it, you lose pressure on the outside of the tire and it spins. You can but aftermarket arms for this reason on a lot of cars, and others have factory adjustment. I was hoping the 929 had factory adjustment.

there must be a camber bolt dude and get your wheel alignment guy to set it as close as possible to 0.
you should look at geting stiffer springs and shocks, or even fultap coilovers so you can adjust preload and how stiff you want them, aswell as nolathane bushes all around to make it even more stiffer so your arse dont sag at quick takeoffs. and you should invest into wider rims and tires aswell , so you have more traction.
and aftermarket arms are usually for extra camber and strength.

Nothing that I know of. The HC aftermarket over there isn't really that big.

I'm going to agree with alpha on this one. poly kit, coilovers would be your best option.

I think you can swap chamber bolts into the back in place off the straight bolts that hold the links in place to get a chamber adjustment like we can in the front of our cars. Not sure if it is safe but it is an idea.

No you can't, the CAM bolts need to have a notch. Not a circular hole, that way they can have movement. I have a thread about this going on already, I have 2 stock upper arms at my fabricators. Waiting to see his design and how well it will work, it should give enough adjustment for +2* to - 3 or 4*.
