Well as some of you know, the Luce I got off of Simon (Sim_RX3) got smashed because a female drive forgot where the brake pedal was located.

My brother ended up buying a pretty nice 1991 HC 929, but the DOHC was tired and slow. We decided to put the old turbo motor in, this is how it panned out.

Still a few bugs to iron out yet, the auto trans doesnt like where its at and flashes at me all the time.

However the exhaust we made was awesome, 2.5 inch straight through with a muffler on the back.

V6 Turbo out

Dohc out of new car.

The old girl - some parts for sale as well.

In the process of doing the engine conversion. Note the rear coilover and my old wheels.

Finished look, minus front bar.

Nice, been busy. Don't envy the work in pulling the DOHC, stupidly tight engine bay. Not that you have a front mount you'll have to crank up the boost and see what she goes like.

Yeah been doing this one on the weekends. Its my brothers car so it was a bit of a project together. Ill post up some current pics of it, finally got the front coilovers in and the whole thing looks nuts!

Still have to put a speedo cable in, the trans is having a heart attack at the moment because theres no speedo. And yes we need to crank the boost up a bit, im still trying to find the tutorial on how to get around the boost cut, anyone have it?

Also doesn anyone know what the timing is supposed to be on the JFT???

Sentia (HD/HE) JE should "essentially" bolt up to everything except accessories (different belts)

with a loom, just like any other conversion that goes from early to late model motor, ie not easy.

i don't really see real advantages of going to JE from HD/HE over HC DOHC, as well as most Sentias were fitted with J5 (2.5 DOHC)
