I wanted to share an experience I had so others might be able to use it.
94 Mazda 929 Changed out Plugs, Wires, Cap, Rotor after doing that I started getting a Check Engine Light along with bucking and missing. After researching the error code flashes, I got codes of 02 "No NE2 signal" and 03 "G Signal". could not find anything wrong with the crankshaft position sensor. after putting old wires back on and regapping the plugs. Still same problem. put the old cap and rotor back on.. all of the Check Engine Light codes went away. So No NE2 signal.. the fix was cap and rotor... Good Luck.. with your issues... |

Yeah, had this same problem many, many years ago. Had it at the dealer and they said there was a service bulletin on using any aftermarket cap and rotors. Only Mazda oem ignition parts. I filed a claim with Blue Streak (aftermarket) and they reimbursed me for the parts, dealer repair invoice, my time and then later replied back with their results of the part error.
