Cheers mate, if worse comes to worse ill just build a jaycar electronic speedo one just to get me on the road.

Might wind the boost up to 14psi this holidays for something to do, should be just before boost cut. Have to take some more vids too, that might get you a little more inspired to start the project sooner lol.

What sort of power can be had with stock turbos on a VG30DETT? Im fairly sure 300-330rwhp is fairly easy?

yeah man.. apparently the bottom end will handle 400-500hp no worries. Not that I want that much at the moment buuut it would be nice to have that option lol.

What about the VG30DET?? do you reckon thats worth a look in?

Nah, my father in law had a z31 300zx with the older motor and its a POS. Has 155kw, SOHC, broke down every second day he drove it, and was gutless (not just low power, it felt gutless), and thats in a car lighter then the 929. You would be purely disappointed, with very little room for improvements.

yeah id say so, however i am talking about the DOHC version.. saw a youtube vid the other day and looks like it goes ok.

Sorry mate, my bad, forgot what 'd' means in nissan talk. Don't know anything about the DOHC single turbo.
