if you removed the distributor, set engine at tdc, and align the marks on the distr shaft. (two dots)

warm up engine to normal temp

now
ground the test connector. (1 pin green plug, probably left side of engine compartment)
loosen the bolt holding the distro (base of distributor)
attach timing ligth on #1 cyl high tension lead.
adjust the timing by rotating the distro.
when its set, torque bolt holding distro to 19-25nm
check timing again,
check to see that the timing advance when u increase rpm.

tip. get some blanco or white/bright paint and put a drop into the timing mark, its much easier to see the timing.

Thanks for your replay NoD.
I think, you did write adjusting presedure of rx7 engine but my engine is 929 engine because of that it has no ground the test connector. I swaped all wiring harnes of rx7 it has data link connector. I will jumper ten and gnd pins of data link connector, isnt it?

my another question is that. i will warm up the engine to normal temp. Am i need stop the engin or turn off the ignition switch off position? when i jumper the ten and gnd pins of diognostic connector.

that was the procedure for 929, but quess most distro driven ignition cars are something along those lines

there should be a 1pin green connector around where the wires for the coil are. the check connector and test connector are not the same.

i would warm it up, ground, loosen distro, attach timing light, then start again

i dont know if the timing is adjustable on doch, but the ignition could be a little wonky if the distributor is not set correct.
