now if i only had enough room at my house to move that stuff in and out of his garage.
Unfortunate about your uncle, but that is the sort of tool set up dreams are made of.

yeah, and he would kick my ass for not having done the timing belt already! lol (or the trans pan gasket, or the filter, or the injectors, or *fades away*) and he sure as **** would kick my ass for tring to put a turbo on this car lol, he'd have said supercharger, or build it from scratch for 3.6l or 4.0L...(he had access to a full machine shop at work, they used to do a race every year with junkers lol)

yep, when he was alive i would always go to him if i had an issue with my cars, he was an old school mechanic, and if you ask me no amount of electronic gizmos will or can replace skill! for instance, on my prelude i had an issue where the car would stumble and stall on a hill or under load, he took out a pair of stethoscopes and listened to the injectors cycle, sure enough it was the injectors. they were stopped up with the lining from the tank. we went toa a pull your own and got a new tank(was apparently replaced on the donor car) and cleaned out the injectors and fuel rail.

she was never running better, **** after that every other part on the car would break, never had an engine issue after that, just oil 100k miles later, the suspension went out on 3 corners (went to an open track day ).
