Default 929 stalling after battery change

hey all! i put a new battery in my 95 929 67k miles car is near perfect cond. ran perfect before battery change. now when stopped in drive after about 1 minute the engine wiil slow down and stall, if i catch it i can shift to neutral and it will run about 300- 400 rpm. it runs nice and smooth for the first minute then slows down. it never did this before the battery change. any ideas? thanks for any help.....steve

Why did you change the battery? Is the starter running faster or slower?

I would check the battery, it could be a bad battery. Try the old battery, or one that u know is good.

Also check that the charge is good.

found it! cracked intake hose. only $ 300 for new one!...steve

You need to make sure that you put the same battery in it that you had before. That can make a difference.
