Question no start

I have a 1993 929 with a no start problem. I have fuel. The coil will fire once when the ignition is turned over then once more when its cut off. I previously blew up my engine and swaped engines myself. Brand new plugs on it. I have a new ignitor and ignition coil on it. The timming is right because it only fits one way. Anybody know what the problem is?

i know these cars are so complex to find these problems, the first thing i would check make sure the dist. turns when cranking engine. also check the cps. did the engine ever run after the swap? good luck....steve

It sounds like the coil is not receiving a go signal from the ecu.

Check if there are any error codes, more info at Master 929 thread
