Default need help on wiring please

hi i am in need of some one that can wire up my engine wire in my bravo ute i did the engine conversion by putting in Mazda 929 DOHC engine and transmission i ended up buying wiring book to rewire the engine but i cant make the engine run i live at canton beach nsw (central coast)

ok, which DOHC did you install, HC, HD1, HD2, HE???

what are the symptoms?

Hi Matsuda 9 it is hc 1991 model i had the cor for 6 months did the timing belt before pulling the engine out i had auto elec. do the wires for me but i don't think his ever done one before so all it dose is crank over wont's to fire but noting i do have the wiring book

had similar issue when i didi conversion on my 626, turned out wrong temp sensor for the ECU. doubt that this is your problem.

ok, lets start with the basics:
* spark
* fuel (and pressure)

important points on parts used form 929:
* ECU
* Coil/Igniter
* VAF

is the fuel pump sufficient? did you try to run 929 pump?

if you used the diagrams, you generally should be fine, i guess i would start at isolating the issue...
* check spark on all plugs
* check if the injectors spray
* disconnect VAF (to see if you can start it in 'limp home' mode

this just from the top of my head after a good drinking session i my come up with something more useful later

oh... also remember that ECU needs the gearbox signal, may need to earth the neutral switch wire

yeh they are tricky when trying to go original ecu.

personally id go aftermarket ecu. but up to you.

i second Sim (he knows what he is talking about )

if you are good with the soldering iron, MegaSquirt - Electronic Fuel Injection Computer by Bowling and Grippo ©2010 is a good option and relatively cheap (its a DIY ECU)

this engine was running before i pulled out of the car i think he tried to short cut by not using the harness of the 929 i wish he did car be drivable now.
i`m not that good with wires if u know any one that can do the job for me i`ll be more than happy to pay for it.

Hi Matsuda 9 and sim_rx3 i ended up buying wiring manual for the engine redone the wires as per diagram now i have spark fuel pump working problem i have now is it will only start and run for 30sec.and cuts off i`m using bravos fuel pump can any one point me what i need to do next thanks
