I have a 2000 MPV. It has a problem with the booster not kicking in sometimes when accelerating. This causes the engine RPM's to go higher than normal, which seems to be causing the check engine light to come on. I recently changed the oil (about a month and a half ago), and the problem seemed to go away for a little while, but has recently returned.
I would like to get the booster working properly, as the engine is pretty gutless without it. Could this possibly be oil related? Any suggestions on what I can check to resolve this?
