Most fuel-injected engines seem to fire up after a few revolutions of the engine when starting. I have a 2002 that needs to be turned over at least 6 or 7 revolutions before it fires up and this is at about freezing temperature (takes longer when it gets colder). When the engine is warm or when cold starting on a warm day it catches quickly. It feels like the engine just isn't getting enough fuel on cold start. Is this normal for this vehicle? YES, the battery is fine, it spins over just as fast cold as it does when warm. Thanks for any info.

Usually clogged fuel filters cause sluggish starts.
