I couldnt find a dedicated forum to the Premacy so i hope there isnt an issue with placing this here?

Hey,

would love to have someones help with a little sound that has started to come from my car. I have a Mazda Premacy 1.8 GSI 99' and recently it has started to click/tick from the front. Its as if you put a playing card into the spokes of a bike.

1, I can rev the car at stand still and no sound.
2, i can do full lock both ways no knocking
3, The sound starts as the car builds speed and increases with the speed and slows down as you slow down.
4, The gears dont need to be engaged for this sound.
5, you can coast along and its still there.
6, there are no other problems - steering is tight, gears are tight and brakes work fine.

I have checked all the obvious - Cv joints, drive shafts, brakes and tyres(for stones) and i just cant figure this one out. a Garage has told me that i could be the gearbox but they would need to take it out to check

any ideas would be more than welcomed
