I guess it depends on what engines are available for the GS in Canada. If its the same 120 hp 2.0 V6 then get it wherever you want. They would be the same.

I know it has the same engine...though it was 130hp v-6..but anyway...i just wanted to know if it came with any other options, like keyless entry...i know it had different wheels and spoiler(not like i can't change them, but just wondering).

Does anyone thing there would be enough benifit in geting one three years newer

Beyond mileage and cost not really. I read the bio of the MX-3 a little while back and not much seemed to change from beginning to end with the exception of a few color additions and interior change as for seat trim and the like.

It's a 1.8 V6, 132hp, world's smallest production V6.
The 2.0 V6 was only availible in the Lantis in Japan.

And I've been looking for a GS for a while now, can't find one cheap enough and in my area.

Thanks for clearing that up. While you are at it what was the power of the V-6 in the Lantis/

I believe it was 160hp, or something close to it. I could be wrong, I think I got that number from Gran Turismo 2.

Where do you live??

I was actually thinking of getting a 94' GS (in the USA) because the dashboard is updated, but finding one of those seems impossible

92 and 93 are odb1, 94 and up are odb2, engine swaps are a million times easier on the 92/93. in 93 mazda had a 25th ann edition here in canada, a ugly purple, came with leather interior and some heated seats/mirrors. only other differnce from canadian to american is that in canada there is a precidia sticker on the small rear hatch glass. other than that nothing really changed over the years. i just dropped a klze motor into mine, 200hp is nice, tranny swap this winter along with a turbo, should run nice.
