alright i have been workin on a mazda mx-3 project swapped out the reg. engine for bpturbo 1.8 and we have been building it and we went to drop it and when i went to put the jackshaft in it didnt fit into the tranny.. it was to long? im lost and mazda aint helping so anyone with any ideas help me out please

sorry I don't klnow much about hte 4 cyl mx3's. I have a v6 mx3.

took out a 1.6/1.8 sohc and installed a 1.8 dohc bpt right , which tranny did you use the 1 that came with the BP or the 1 that came with the 1.6 sohc MX-3. They are 2 different style trannys 1.8 DOHC BP got the G-series while the 1.6/1.8 SOHC got the F-series.
