92' MX-3 GS 1.8L... Distributor maybe?

I've had my MX-3 for a year now. Love the car, never ever had any problems out of it. Great on gas, handles very well, and packs a nice punch under the hood. Recently, I was driving and it just died with no warning whatsoever. I haven't been able to get it to crank since.. From alot of things I've read about these cars, I've heard that they are notorious for coils and/or ignition modules to fry. Not getting ANY spark, and done all the other tests too, so am I correct in narrowing it down to the distributor? Thanks for the help guys..
