have an mx-3 1.8i v6. the level in the coolant expansion bottle keeps rising gradually over time. the bottom hose is not getting very hot compared to the top hose.
temp gauge showing temperature as normal. heater working all ok. any ideas as to why the coolant level is rising? |

It's probably normal. As long as your coolant overflow botttle is within the MIN/MAX lines while the engine is cold, and it doesn't overflow when fully warmed up, it's not doing anything it shouldn't.
If it does start overflowing, then you've got a problem. Let us know if it does. |
