mazda rx-7 - 1979-1995

There is little to say about the RX-7 that hasn't been said already, I suppose, but that's not going to stop me from trying. Mazda's rotary-powered wonder-machine has become the stuff of legend over the past few decades. It's moved from a lightweight and nimble two-seat sportster into a more luxurious coupe, and then back again. Though it's currently gone, the legacy it's left behind guarantees that it will never be forgotten.

The RX-7 amazed the world for three generations:

1979-1985 "SA" or "FB" - the original wedge
1986-1991 "FC" - the blown wonder
1993-1995 "FD" - the lightweight powerhouse

MAZDA RX-7 PAINT COLORS

This info comes from a site called PaintScratch.com, sellers of touch-up kits and paint packages that match original factory colors. All I've done is compiled the paint codes for each year - it's up to you to check your car and see what matches.

You can find your color by simply opening up your driver door and, on the info sticker on the door jamb, looking for a two-digit paint code.
