I have a 2001 Tribute V-6
the small rubber vacuum hose on top of the EGR valve is cracked, brittle, and dried out, which is causing a P401 code (insufficient EGR flow)
the engine still seems to be running fine but I'd like to correct the problem
I thought it would be easy just to replace this small rubber hose but apparently this hose is only sold by the dealer as part of a larger set of hoses with connections for the entire EGR system.
has anyone done a DIY fix for this hose?
