Hey all, I have a '92 2600, and the power steering just started to squeal. The bottle is full, however the belt is loose as ****. The local Pep Boys told me the tensioner might be bad. Is that adjustable, or is it a cheap fix/repair??
I also bought a 3" body lift, and want to go to bigger tires in the spring. I noticed one of the other posts was for the B4000, they said 31"s will fit w/o mods? Is this the case with me too? So does that mean I could go to 35"s?? Also is my '92 B2600i a Ranger clone? Thanks all!!! |

There is a tensioner pulley for your power steering belt. You must loosen its main bolt/nut so it can be moved by its tensioning bolt on the top of it. And by no means is your 92 Mazda a Ranger clone that didn't happen till 94. And I don't know anything about raisng a Mazda just lowering them. A friend of mine has raised his 2wd Mazda and put factory Z71 rims and tires on his with very little problems.

yeah I got sick of that pulley so I drilled a hole at the top of it grinded away enuff of it so the bolt that the half cirle shape of the pulleys bolt would fit snug and tight just be care ful not to weaken it cutting too high. I would recamend going to junkl yard an getting an extra just in case
