Thumbs up

I'm interested in doing a doing a B2600I project truck that involves swapping engines. My plan is to use a Mitsubishi 2.4L (4g64) engine which has the same bolt pattern as 2.6L G54B AKA 87-88 AM1 engine. The 4g64 can accept a 4g63T head from a turbo eclipse and all accessories. For the transmission I plan to use a TII S5 (I think?) with the correct bellhousing to bolt to the engine.

My question is:
Does the 89-93 B2600I have the same engine mounting and bellhousing pattern as the 87-88 B2600 so the 87-88 AM1 engine could be fitted in it?

The only reason I ask is because the 87-88 B2600 is carbureted but the B2600I is MPI which would make the swap much easier.
