I have a 1996 B-4000. My driver's side power window is fully opened and now doesn't close. I don't hear a motor trying to close it. I tried replacing the fuse but that didn't do anything.
Any suggestions on what it could be. I really don't want an expensive fix at the dealership. Thanks! |

Well, if you have a bsic understanding of electronics, you can begin some troubleshooting. My guess is the switch. To test, open it up and test for continuity of the switch and check to see if it is getting power. Then check to see if power is actualy getting to the motor. If power is getting to the motor, then either something is physically jammed, or the motor is defective.
