Hey,
I JUST bought my 2007 B-2300 and when I start it up cold it revs to about 2000 - 2500, and then goes up and down for about 30 seconds. Then it stays at about 1000 rpms untill i put it into gear. The dealership says it's normal, but i wanted second opinions. Thanks |

Sounds normal, they rev high to get the engine warmed up. It is normal, however, it is wrong, causes excessive startup wear. I don't know why they do it that way. They should delay starting by 5 seconds and instead activate an electric oil pump instead.
