Paint job

just wondering if its worth me getting a new paint job on my 1997 B4000 4X4?
it's not that the paint is extremely bad or anything, its just that the rust has started in many places, so many places.
should i just get the rust spots taking care of or would it be worth painting the whole **** thing?
i bought the truck second hand with 120 000 km. is that the usual life span of the paint on this truck?
any comments would be very appreciated

Normally the paint would last a lot longer, but certain blues and silver paints don't hold up as well. Where is the rust located? I would stabilize the rusty areas and worry about getting the rest painted later. Fixing the rust will do little good unless you also fix the area where water first got under the paint.
