yeah, thats at the crank. You gotta figure for some power loss through the drivetrain. I do have low compression in one cylinder. That really bugs me because the engine only has 8k miles on it. Whatever, ill do some more runs and see what the highest reading i can get is.

i believe that if youre gonna build a custom crank that you should shorten the stroke to better equalize the bore-stroke ratio. and with that, longer rods to make up the difference.

Yes, because revving it up to infinity to increase horsepower will make it very fuel efficient, which is exactly what he wants to do. Oh wait, that was sarcasm.

A longer stroke will result in increased volumetric efficiency, which if matched to the right porting, will not only produce more fuel efficient results, but would also increase total performance. Keep the stroke the same, or make it longer. If you bore the engine out a little bit too, you could increase total output as well. This is a similar approach that automakers are using to increase displacement and also increase efficiency.

With the right cam, you can make it meatier and more efficient.
