I have a 95 B2300 4 cyl. that idles slow sometimes and occasionally after running a while will not restart or starts hard with the gas pedal depressed. I found a broken sensor (snapped in two) in the front of the engine just to the left of the timing belt cover. It goes into what looks like a silver tube. I can't find this part on any diagrams or books. I went to a Ford dealership parts dept. and they had no idea. Of course they couldn't just step outside and look! What sensor is this? I assume is has something to do with the egr system. Thanks.
