1988 b2200 bowl vent solenoid???

ok so i got this truck from a friend and he said the carb needed to be rebuilt. so i took it all apart and turns out the bowl vent solenoid is testing bad. and i need a new one. well no parts places stock it and they cant get it either. junkyards dont have carburetors. any ideas?

Have you tried the dealer? If you have, try getting a new carb, it may be expensive, but its definitely worth it. Weber makes very good ones for mazda trucks.

yeah, i work at an automotive shop. have literally called everybody possible about it. and no junkyards carry carbs. webers are crap. but i got this truck for $250 and reallly not looking to invest another $500.

yeah, I know what you mean, I spent the first 2 months looking for a carb, my only choices were either a $600 edelbrock, which was crazy that it would work on a japanese truck, or steal the one off of my uncles truck. Sorry I couldn't help more :/
