Default 89 b2600i 4x4 jumper to kick on fuel pump

Specific question, where is the plug to jump and manually make the fuel pump kick on.

Background, any help would be appreciated.

Truck had a single owner, husband died, it sat in garage for 5 years, then a guy bought it. Said gas was molasses, cleaned tank, new pump/filter, pulled injectors, installed new plugs, wires, cap, rotor.

It ran, then stopped. A shop diagnosed a TPS which they replaced. Truck ran, parked for a week wouldn't start. THen I bought it. ECU looks clean inside, and shows grease pen marks from a junkyard (as does the Air Mass Meter).

I have spark, but I think the fuel pump isn't kicking on. I cant hear anything, and get no gas at the lines. U can't comfirm where the fuel pump relay is. On my old Volvos, I used to keep a jump wire in the glovebox because I could always bypass the relay and limp it home. Anyway, we would appreciate any directoin you all can offer.

You can jumper the fuel pump via the diagnostic connector. I do not recall the pins you need to jumper though. If you intend to work on your own vehicle, you really need some kind of service manual for it. A Haynes or Chiltons are both great guides, both will have wiring diagrams and both will have instructions to do what you looking to do. You can pick up new ones, or you get get used ones on eBay and save a little bit. While forums like this are often useful tools to work on our cars, you also have to sort through a lot of subjective opinions. A service manual is still a good investment.
