2008 B4000 4X4 headlight bulb replacement

It is my intention to replace the OEM bulbs in the headlights. The drivers side needs to have the battery removed to facilitate this. On the passenger side the air cleaner box needs to come out. I have tried unsuccessfully. The problem appears to be two rubber grommets holding the box onto the inner fender. Nothing seems to be able to get them to disconnect. What is the procedure for getting the grommets to release the box?
