aight couldnt help but add my two cents.. its christmass eve and after my porsche 944 S fell apart on me i decided i would get a mazda 3 hatchback for xmass... to tell the truth i havent made it to the last page of posting .. just here are my thoughts so far... i have driven a porsche 911 *1983* with a race motor, a geo prizm, a ford focus svt five door, a corvette zr1 1991, etc... out of all these cars the only ones to beet my three were the porsche 911 (the 944 has better accel but over all isnt as good), and the zr1, the zr1 just b/c it has soo much more power on tap (500 + when y ou hit the switcher ma thinger). the three has great handling, power on tap, etc... and instead of looking like a nice car that someone put in a car crusher then pulled out before the car was totaly smooshed *toyota matrix und others* it has a style to it... the gauge cluster is a dream after dim VDO style gauges... the stereo *six cd changer* is great with lots of oommph although it does feel a little biased to the front even with the back on full balance. ..the trunk is awesome though a lil small.... the car aint as low as the nine eleven but that is of course to be expected... my standard seventeens are a dream, easy to klean and man do they fit the body, unlike all the other us released hatchbacks which have crap for wheels unless you put another three grand down... hp it beats all other u.s. hatchbacks yet again the ford svt is the only to come close, and i dont think that even h as variable cams.... only a few complains... the electrical power steering pump makes teh oddest noise in the world i have ever heard a car make.... and it changes when you turn the wheel, but once up to speed you cant hear it anymore, another complaint i have is that the car doesnt have two exhaust tips like the concept shown earlier in this thread.. i like the moonroof but wish it could have been a little bigger, jthe steering wheel is freaking awesome, telescoping and height adjusting,,, out of all the above cars its the first car that i finally fit into, im a big guy *six four* so its hard to get a comfy ride nowadays... after driving a porsche for four years im a little disapointed at how little you can hear the car... once my warranty is done that cruddy little gazhaust is coming off and hopefully mazdaspeed wiill have something more to my liking by then... the air box is also in the middle of nowhere... and no putting a strut bar on theh front towers for you trackers ... theres a stupid black box covering the BATTERY for gods sake the BATTERY and to get around it you eithe rhave to remove it... or cut it out of your way...
peace for now laptop battery is dieinig... |
