Unhappy

MW,

Have any of you seen the interior of the Mazda 3?
If so have you notice one thing dat don't seem quite right?
Yes, you know wat i'm talkin about...the audio system.
What happened there? Did the designer of the car ran
out of time or sumthin'? I personally don't think the audio
layout and design goes with the entire interior of the car!

So, wat i would like to know is: does any of you know if
i can remove that particular section of the dash and install
my own after market audio and LCD screen?
Or am I out of luck? And I have to go extreme and do my own customization?

dk

the integrated layout does pose a slight aftermarket upgrade problem.

I don't see the big deal... if you want to upgrade the system then you can replace the speakers, and add amps and subs. The head unit can remain stock and it wouldn't matter since it wouldn't be powering anything. Besides, then you get to keep those neato volume controls on the steering wheel

but if a person whats to get install a head unit that is better, the fitment would more than likely have to be custom made. BTW the steering controls can be integrated into the aftermarket system anyways.
