Does anyone have any plans to loc-tite their antenna in place? I know a few people with Jettas that have had their's stolen. They are pretty pricey to replace (Somewhere between $50 and $100). I tried mine in my friend's Jetta last night and it fit. I don't really want to be replacing an antenna, but I don't want to screw anything up. Any thought on if loc-tite would cause any problems with reception or anything else? Or do you think people might damage anything else trying to get the antenna out if it's cemented in place?
