I came across it the other day (I believe on this site) but can't remember it. It looks similar to a future Lexus SUV and almost mirrors the Mazda3 wagon. I apologize if this isn't in the appropriate forum, but it's driving me crazy. Please help.

Hey Colin,
Got your PM...I haven't heard anything about an upcoming Mazda SUV, but it would be interesting to see where that would go. It would have to be smaller than the Tribute, so I don't know if it would make sense for them to make such a small SUV...

I found it, guys. It's the MX Sportif. Not sure if it'll be in the SUV category, though. I'm not even sure it's scheduled for production.

naw the MX Sportif was the show car version of the Mazda3... there was a concept SUV and i just can't think of the name of it right now... ill see if i can find it somewhere

i think i found the one u mean... MX Sport Tourer... it was first shown at the 2001 Tokyo Motorshow. It has RX-8 style doors, GMC Envoy XUV kind-of cargo area
i'd attach a pdf of it but im not sure how... Scott
