Cowtown,

Interesting. I had stopped in at Kramer just to look at the 3's and hope they had a brochure. Before you knew it they had me out for a test drive. Perhaps, I just won't service it there.....

I need to sell my '92 Mustang before I purchase a 3, don't expect it will sell unitl spring, but one never knows. The salesman I was dealing with actually left me a voice mail over the weekend saying he may have someone interested in my car and needed more details.

We'll see what he says when I phone him back today.

Sounds good Pheare, keep us in the know. I can say I won't go back to Kramer but it's quite possible you may never have those issues. Chances are if that salesguy didn't call me, he probably wasn't a good salesguy in general and probably moved on or was let go. Sounds like you have a good one there at least.

As for service, I'll never take it back, just too tenative after that experience, that's not to say you won't have great service but I won't be taking my chances.

Will do,

Did you end up getting any sort of break on the price?

Not really, I had a pre-existing lease with my Pro5 that was due in August of 04 so we (the dealer and I) both had to eat some of that to come to an agreement.

Thankfully my lease payments are all told some $28 a month more than what I was paying before and I now don't have to put out $4400 in payments to the other car. Considering this new car is some $2000cdn more than the previous one with the same options I think it played out pretty well. I did manage to get them to throw in about $120 in accessories though (Wheel locks, Cargo Net, Ashtray Removal to Storage Compartment dealy).

Hopefully I'll get my xbox too, I don't see not getting one even though the ad for the xbox deal says "Buy" a new Mazda I think that's pretty generic and there is no fine print so there you are.

A couple hours ago I got the call that the financing was all approved and that I can pick up the car at 6pm. May be too dark for pictures but I'll see what I can do. To make things worse this nice snowstorm is going to mess up my new ride for the next week. Always thought those people buying cars in the winter were weird, now I'm one of them!

On my 97 Taurus Sho I had some 2.5 years ago when I bought it in 2000 it had 3 year old Eagle RS-A tires like the ones we have, so pretty much beat as far as tires went. I drove the RS-A as beat as they were for the first winter (2000-2001) without any problems at all. The next winter I bought some used winters for the next winter only because the RS-A were now 5 years old and hard as rocks (not to mention at the wear bars).

I don't think I'm going to have any problems with the RS-A on the 03 for this winter though I'lll definiately look at something else for next year. This was my third winter driving my 02 Pro5 with the stock factory Dunlop SP5000 here in Calgary and I never had an issue, sure sometimes it sucked but never had any issues.
