I bought the first Mazda 3 from Cory Fairbanks Mazda on November 29th, the day they were delivered, and I love it. I was going to buy a Mazda 6 or a Mazdaspeed Protege until I saw the web site for the 3 and decided to wait until they came out to make my decision. I had already test driven the 6 and the Mazdaspeed Protege before, so on the day the 3 was delivered I went in to drive one. I fell in love with the 3 instantly, it's looks great inside and out and is a blast to drive. I got the base 4 door 3s 5 speed in sunlight silver with the black and red interior for $2000 less than a Mazdaspeed Protege. I know what your thinking, but the base 3s comes loaded with goodies; 16" alloys, 4 wheel disc brakes, fog lights, power windows, doors, mirrors, keyless entry, 6 speaker 100 watt cd player with steering wheel controls, a/c, tilt/telescoping steering wheel, cruise control...you get the picture.
I put 400 miles on it in the first 3 days and it was turning heads everywhere I went, I had several people pull up next to me to find out what kind of car it was or to admire it up close.
I don't know how to post pics on here, so if anyone can tell me how to do it I'll post some pics of my 3s.
