Hey all, just took delivery and drove home my new Mazda 3 Sport in Red. It's got the Automatic, Air, Sunroof plus when they arrive I'll also have the ashtry compartment delete option and a cargo net. I must say the gauges are even better at night, I can't believe how bright they can be!

I was second guessing myself when I went to pick it up tonight cause I saw the Titanium again but as soon as I walked out back and saw my red baby I knew I had made the right choice. Even the young buck salesguy there who was helping me get out the door said man look at it, there isn't even sun in here and it's just shimmering, and it does!

Yeah, she's really nice, I've attached some shots below. Boy was I getting a lot of looks when driving around tonight, particularly from the young Asian ladies, despite the fact I'm married I don't mind their attention...

Oh and for those Canadians who were wondering yes you do get an Xbox with it, even if you lease. My salesguy wasn't there tonight when I went to pick it up so I just have to drop in tomorrow and get mine.

The young salesguy did say they had a lot of people coming in who bought in November asking for an Xbox and they were saying too bad.

Ask my any questions you like, I'll do my best to answer.

Thanks guys, I'm quite happy with it for sure! The extra power tonight was awesome when I merged onto 16th ave... mmmm power.

Thanks for the camera compliments but it's just a basic Kodak 2MP Digital camera with 2x Optical zoom, nothing fancy and I didn't play with the flash or anything either. Those are compressed pics too, I'd post the uncompressed ones but they are a bit larger, I can E-mail them out if anyone wanted them for some reason.

Well that's good, I do know he was saying they were turning a lot of people away. I do get my Xbox, probably this afternoon if I can get away from work.

Power wise it can really jump off the line like the Pro5 did but I'd have to say the sweet spot in the powerband from my driving thus far seems to be around the low 4000's in 3rd gear, she definately pulls nice there.

It's at the dealer's discretion. Mine happens to be very tight with giving things away, so to get an X-Box, I had to pay the dealer's cost (which was $160). All because I missed the start of the promotion by 4 days. My dealer must not care about good customer relations.

Cowtown,

I read somewhere that the cam switch over point is right at 4200 rpm. So I would say you are probably feeling it. Very cool. I drove the auto and the stick and I couldn't tell a difference in the acceleration that much or when the cam switch happened.
