Hello all,

Terribly sorry for raising this thread from the dead, but I just wanted to mention that my 48-hour-old 3s automatic is having a hard time turning over as well.

So either Mazda is still using the bad pumps (it's been about six months since the first post was made on this), or there's a new batch of bad pumps, or the problem is something else that Mazda still doesn't know about.

It's the middle of summer, and I think it's safe to say that no new car should take 10 seconds to turn over, even if it has been sitting for a while.

Although, this morning, I did let the fuel pump run for a few seconds before turning the ignition. And it did start up substantially faster.
