Sport package

Will the 17" alloy and side extensions really enhance the car? Am wondering whether to get this option. Also wonder why Mazda did not include the spoiler in this sport package?

If anybody has pictures of the sedan s with this option, I would love to see.

This option is standard on the HB in the US.

The slightly bigger wheels and side sils will make a difference...take a look at mazda's website and if you go to the 360 degree view, you'll be looking at the stock Mazda3...then if you go look at the pictures, they have a loaded Mazda3 with the side sils and stuff...the biggest difference, on the sedan anyways, is that the fog lights appear to "wrap" around and into the side sils...makes a cool effect. As for the spoiler, you can barter with the guys at Mazda and usually get them to throw one in for under $150US.

This is the same car without the side sils package and without the cool front grill...the little things make a big difference...

The side sill extentions also mask a rather harsh looking sharp metal edge along the bottom of the body below the door. But personally, I'd opt for the sport pkg even if was just to get the body colored grille. I think that makes a huge difference in the car's appearance.

Yeah the car looks a whole lot better with the sport package on, without a doubt.

I think that the reason the Hatchback is more expensive is because the Sport Package comes standard.
