Help Please!!! I need to remove switch pods.

I am getting towards the completion of a custom stereo system on my 3 (just wait till you guys see the pics...not to mention those that will hear it!). I want to wire a switch for my neon lights in thwe switch pod next to the Xenon headlight leveler and dash light adjuster. I can't figure it out by popping them off, and taking off the lower dash looks like a bitch. Let me know the trick.

Remove the one screw behind the hood release lever, and the dash just pulls off.
