Has anybody tried removing the emblems off the back of the 3? I was curious if they're just stuck on or if there are placement holes behind it. Thanks.

there are 2 holes under MAZDA, but the number 3 is just stuck on... (on the hatchback anyway, I would assume the sedan is the same)

as per mazda's usually policy all emblems are glued on, except for the flying wing symbol thing which has the 2 holes. to debadge all others on a hot day get a blow dryer, heat it up and use some fishing line to work them off, then simple bug and tar remover to get extra glue off

I can tell you from my experience that the "MAZDA" had not 2 holes but 3! Unless you are going to have them filled and painted do not remove them. The number "3" is just glue and you could remove it with a hairdryer and some bug and tar remover if you really wanted.

I was going to debadge the "MAZDA3" until I found out about the 3 holes and then I figured it wasn't worth the extra $$$ to remove.
