The only reason I wouldnt mind it being the next civic, would be the fact that the value of the car will hold. Which is great when I want to go trade it in or sell it for a new one...other than that, I had a civic before my 3S and it doesnt even compare...So to me, its already BEYOND the Civic.

the only reason i would want it to be popular is that aftermarket companies can do a lot of performance parts for it.
but that's the only reason. i really don't want it to become like the civic...at least 3-4 at every red light. |

the bar has been raised, and i don't think honda and toyota will just sit back and not be as aggressive with their civic and corolla redesigns. the corolla is already getting more aggressive with the xrs. its not as cool as the mazda3, but its certainly a step in the right direction. i expect honda and toyota to re-raise the econobox standards late next year with the 2006 lineup. |

To me it doesn't really matter. On one hand it would be nice to have a lot of them sold for the aftermarket. I plan on personalizing my 3 to make it unique to me
