Does anyone know the size of the low beam in the 4 door M3? I wanna do an aftermarket HID conversion and I don't know the size and I couldn't find it in the manual, also has anyone done an aftermarket kit on theres, if so got pics? thanks

It should be in the owner's manual.

Low beam = H7


I put aftermarket HID in my Mazda3, 9000K, very bright and pretty, but haven't taken any picture yet.

what's HID?? is it easy to install?

I think HID stands for High Intensity Discharge, I may be wrong!! This is the super bright head light you see on the road, some people called it Xenon light. And my friend installed it for me, he's a professional light bulb installer, so I guess it's not hard for him to do, but if you have never install HID before, it can be a pain in the ass.

Is it just a case of purchasing the H7 bulbs or do you need a full kit, have seen prices for the HID bulbs at $20 but kits at $550

i think you are confusing fake xenon bulbs (blue tinted) for $20 with real xenon (HID) lighting which will cost you 500 and up...
