Just want to add that I was using a new car worksheet form from www.carbuyingtips.com and with their formula... had the GS with AC/PP/SP and it suggested total price of 23,384$... and it was with the assumption that (block heater/ac tax/ tire tax & admin fees = 400$)

although the first quote I got was
AC=100$, Tire=14$, Admin=299$, BlockHeater=139$ Total:552$ so I thought 400$ would be alright... its just lowering the Admin fees in half...

what do you guys think? this is gonna be my offer, I have a couple places to try it... with someone I know at one dealership... so we'll see how it goes.

that price sounds good to me. It is a lot better than the almost 26,000 I was quoted. Hope it works out for you and if it does, I'll be following suit quite soon. Just think of that extra money saved to get a sick system

beinkken: How much was the adapter to get the Subwoofer installed?

did you do it yourself or get it done... I have wires and stuff that I could do it.. I'm just curious if its worth the hassle...

Listen Guys,

The first week I got my 3, I installed my Orion amp and subs. I just couldn't take the awful sound quality anymore. As for the deck, there is no suitable case for the Mazda 3 yet, so they say, unless you build your own. www.metraonline.com should have one available soon(within the next month or so). I'm also a freak when it comes to sound, and I must say, I'm really disapponted at the fact that the stock system is so poor in sound quality. I mean if they put so much into it (steering wheel controls, illuminated screen, etc...) but with "crap" sound, it's such a waste. Oh well.

fff
As for getting the sub in, you have to buy a Hi/Low converter. Apparently, it's a snap to install, but then again, you'll have to ask my installer. Cristol Audio in Toronto.
I'll get the info for you guys.
