Cold Air Intake vs. Ram Air Intake

I was looking at the AEM website and noticed that the horsepower and torque gains for the short ram for the Mazda 6 (no test for the 3 yet) were almost the same for both the SRI and CAI. Assuming that the results would be similar for a 3s, what are the advantages and disadvantages to both intakes? I know that rain and standing water is a problem for CAI if it hangs too low. Other than that...?? Oh, by the way, autocarparts.com is advertising an AEM SRI...that's the only place I've found it. Are they full of BS?

There is no AEM short ram.

Aem tech called me and said that SRI did come out for a mazda 3 but they discontinued i..but he said they still got some out there..
