Looks excellent! Also the tank behind you would look sweet with a set of 22's! :-)

looks pretty nice...is the ride feel different now? im sure you have better handling from the low profile tires..car feels a bit slower though right?

I wouldnt say it feels any slower... though i definatly wanna drive slower though as i can feel the bumps alot more. But it does corner considerably better and on the highway it feels like im driving on air its so smooth of a ride.

smoother...until you hit a pebble then it shakes your fillings loose! hehe To me a harsher ride is a small price to pay for better handling of lower profile tires. And you shouldn't lose all the much speed. MAYBE the extra inch diameter might weigh a smidge more, but I doubt you or I would notice it. As long as the tires are the same OUTSIDE diameter, you should notice almost nothing as far as acceleration goes.

And the formula...
http://www.mazda6tech.com/files/rotational.xls

Rim weight, tire weight, size and diameter all have very big effects on acceleration, handling, and braking.

Even if you maintain the exact same weight as stock wheels when plus sizes, you are still slowing down the car. Depending on the type of increase, and tires used, you can easily add .1 or .2 seconds to your 1/4, just from plus sizing to a 18.

With that in mind, not everyone is concerned with squeezing every ounce of performance out of their car...and I gotta say, those 18's on the 3 look hot as ****. Nice choice .

If you ever go racing though, you might want to pick up some 16's with low profile rubber.

16"s with low profile tires?...noooo way thats too small, it would look so unproportional to the car...id say 17"s with low profile...i dont want 18"s because my friend put 18"s on his maxima, and before that, his car felt light off its feet...now it feels weighed down a bit, but much better handling
