Our 2004 Mazda 3 GT Sport has only 5000 miles. We thought the squeak from the clutch peddle would have been gone by now. The noise is actually coming from the cylinder rod as it moves in and out of the gasket. I tried spraying automotive silicone grease on the rod, but no luck. The dealership did the same thing when my wife took it in for an oil change (and to fix the frong passenger side wiper blade... not working well). IT STILL SQUEAKS!!! I might try some dry graphite powder next.
There are no Technical Service Bulletins on the NHTSA web site about this problem, so I'm wondering if I'm on the only one with the noise. Anyone else have this problem? Has anyone fixed it? Thanks -GotMass |

Okay, this is seriously starting to bother me. There's only two Mazda 3's out of thousands that has a squeaky clutch pedal?
Please, even if you've never had this problem, I'd like to hear from you. It would at least confirm that my clutch has an unusual problem. Txs |
