2005 Mazda3 hatchback REAR CAMBER ANGLE 2.7 degrees -- original Eagle RSA tires showing threads on inner side after 18k miles. Rear camber -1.6 left and -2.7 right. Especially the negative 2.7 is way out of specs, the tire is leaning inwards too much, the acceptable camber range is [-0.3 .. -2.3] degrees. Q: Anybody else had this issue? Could it be a factory defect? (covered by warranty)[/b]

In my opinion it is a defect because there are no adjustment on the rear.
My '07' Mazda3 has both at -2.5 which is out of the range. The service manager keeps telling me the tires are wearing out because of the tire that are on the car. This is my second set of tires on this car and I found the only way to fix the negative chamber is to buy the rear kit. The only problem is Mazda made the car that way and I don't I should fork out $400-$500 to fix there problem. I have been contacting Mazda through email. I don't have any answers as of yet. But if everyone emails and calls maybe Mazda will do something about it. i will let you know what happens.
