I have to agree with Virgin1, very sharp. Cool photo angles too. Too bad the headlights threw off the camera's meter and underexposed those with the lights on. Probably the only way around that is with a tripod and a camera with manual settings, or to shoot in an area (or time of day) with more available light. Anyway, enjoy your 3. They are a blast to drive!

Thanks guys. I'm not on this forum much anymore as my local mazda club is very active (ottawamazda.ca), but given that I started here, I felt that I owed Virgin1 some pics.

As for the exposure, it was all shot manual and I tuned the exposure in Adobe Lightroom. So either, you don't like the look I was going for, or your monitor isn't calibrated and properly profiled. If you're not into digital photography, probably the latter.

Thanks guys.

Sorry if my comments sounded too critical. You are undoubtedly right about my monitor. The one I use on the internet is not calibrated and almost all of the detail of the car is lost and all I see are the headlights.

I suppose it could be. Frankly, I forgot about Aurora when I wrote that. In either case, it's a really good color for the 3HB. I'd take it!! I'm surprised schmoo didn't correct me. Y'know I don't offend that easily, schmoo.

I got a message just yesterday that it was down for "emergency" service, but it's been acting up since Saturday AM... and you know me, that would be EARLY AM. Siber Express called me the Sunday night and suggested the site was hit w/a virus. After yesterday's message, it sounds like a real possibility. We were getting hit w/a lot of SPAMMERs recently. That, or a server issue, but no one wrote me directly to let me know. I noticed the Volvo site is also down, but none of the others (InternetBrands.com) that I checked out.

Hey!! How's the baby, Remi? Getting any sleep these days? I know, I know... it's a labor of love.

ya' know I'm j/k....

No offense taken dude. It is very dark, but there is detail there. I agree its too dark to show off the car and I will be doing some more in the coming weeks. Will post 'em.

As for the colour, I figured colour had a different name in states, so I didn't mention it. However, it turns out that Aurora (your correct guess), is known as Electric Blue Mica up here in Canada.

virgin, yeah figured it was something like that. I hate it when one of my five forums goes down...... :P The baby's doing great. As for sleep..... well no less than I got while working 24 hour medic shifts. Actually more.
