I need to change the battery in a 2005 Mazda3 Hatchback. Any issues concerning removing the battery? I had an Audi where removing the battery caused all kinds of grief as well as an expensive trip to the dealer to have some code reset

The only issues you should experience, and they are very minor ones, are lost info in the form of tripometer mileage and radio station settings.
I have disconnected my battery a number of times to reset the ECU and those are the only "problems" I've had.

<span style="color:#FF00FF">So I live in Minnesota and the temperature has been below zero lately, around -6 degrees F, and my 2005 Mazda 3 will not start if it's been sitting outside for longer than a couple of hours. If I have the battery replaced will that solve my problem? Is there only one size of battery that can go in a Mazda3??

Thanks!
